Delvis(Un)Limited is a project that gravitates within the universe of collectible design, orbiting around it, viewing it from new perspectives, questioning its form and nature, challenging and celebrating it at the same time.

Founded by Stefano Del Vecchio, the gallery pushes further into experimentation, strengthening its role as a talent scout in the realm of research-driven collectible design.   The provocation is evident from the name itself-an on-and-off play on a powerful word: “Unlimited.” Unlimited as in boundless, undefined, unrestrained by strict parameters or conventional notions of function and form-just as collectible design should be.                              But “Unlimited” also as in mass-produced, pointing in the opposite direction, toward objects that can be endlessly reproduced without a fixed edition number. 

While the debate over the boundary between art and design keeps going-and newer labels like “Functional Art” already seem outdated-this project plays with one of the few words that everyone thinks they understand, but that actually carries a much broader meaning. Delvis (Un)Limited primarily works with limited editions but allows itself open-ended series.
