Carotaggi Quadrati are imaginary geological samples inspired by core drilling, a process that extracts sections of material to reveal what lies beneath the surface. Made from epoxy resin and pigments, each piece evokes semi-precious stones and geological formations through layered strata, fractures, inclusions, transparencies and shifting colours.
