In the Sculptural Bench, carved out of wood, layers are applied in finishing phase, where impregnation of deep reddish-black pigment and brushed lacquer layer over layer gives its intensity on the work. Here, with each layer brushed by hand, the satin lacquer reveals the manual carves. Then again, the solid wood is placed in juxtaposition with the translucent glass volume.
